Chandigarh Tribune
''The Tribune'' is an Indian English-language daily newspaper published from Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Bathinda, Chandigarh and New Delhi. It was founded on 2 February 1881, in Lahore, Punjab (now in Pakistan), by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five persons as trustees. It is a major Indian newspaper with a worldwide circulation. In India, it is among the leading English daily for Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. The present Editor-in-Chief of ''The Tribune'' is Rajesh Ramachandran. Previously he was editor-in-chief of '' Outlook'' magazine. Ramachandran succeeded Harish Khare, who was appointed editor-in-chief of the Tribune Group of newspapers on 1 June 2015, serving until 15 March 2018. New Delhi (, , ''Naī Dillī'') is the capital of India and a part of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). New Delhi is the seat of all three branches of the government of India, hosting the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and the Supreme Court of India. Kali Nath Roy
Kali Nath Roy (1878 – 9 December 1945) was a Bengali nationalist journalist and the Chief Editor of the newspaper The Tribune. His son Samarendra Nath Roy was a mathematician and applied statistician. Early life Roy was born in 1878 at Jessore, British India. While studying F.A. in Scottish Church College in Kolkata he joined in anti British movement and left college. He started work as sub editor of Bengali Magazine, edited by Surendranath Banerjee. Gurbachan Jagat
Gurbachan Singh Jagat (born 1 July 1942) is a former Governor of the State of Manipur in India. He was appointed to this office on 1 July 2007 and retired as the governor on 22 July 2013. Narinder Nath Vohra
Narinder Nath Vohra (born 5May1936), popularly referred as N. N. Vohra, is a retired 1959batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Punjab cadre who was the 12thgovernor of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.
