The Chambly Forts are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team from Chambly, Quebec, Canada. On April 29, 2015, a consortium purchased the Kahnawake Condors and transferred the franchise to Chambly for the 2015-2016 season. At the time of relocation the franchise had not yet claimed a regular season division nor league title and had failed to advance beyond the quarterfinal round in playoff competition. After the first 3 seasons as the Forts their final standings in regular season and playoff rounds had improved to quarter final in 2017-18 season. Chambly, Quebec
Chambly is an off-island suburb of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is located in the Montérégie region, inland from the South Shore of the Saint Lawrence River. It was formed from the merger in 1965 of Fort-Chambly (formerly Chambly-Canton prior to 1952) and the old city of Chambly (formerly Chambly-Basin prior to 1952, and earlier sometimes called Bassin-de-Chambly). Junior Ice Hockey
Junior hockey is a level of competitive ice hockey generally for players between 16 and 21 years of age. Junior hockey leagues in the United States and Canada are considered amateur (with some exceptions) and operate within regions of each country. Lachine Maroons
Les Maroons de Lachine were a Canadian Junior ice hockey team from Lachine, Quebec, Canada. It started as a franchise in the Metropolitaine leagues in 1953 in both the Junior A and Junior B divisions. Later, in 1995, the Pierrefonds Lions of the Quebec Junior A league moved to Lachine and resumed use of the name. Following the 2014–15 season the Maroon franchise was sold to investors of the Gatineau Mustangs. The Mustangs were former members of the Eastern Ontario Junior B Hockey League. This league re-organized and re-branded itself as the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 and eliminated 6 teams, one of which was the Gatineau Mustangs. Les Braves de Valleyfield or the Valleyfield Braves are a Canadian junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Junior Hockey League (LHJQ). They play in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec at the Aréna Salaberry. History As part of the College St. Lawrence, the team went by the name "St. Lawrence College of Québec Lions" during its first three seasons. After a modest first season, the Lions reached the playoffs in their second season. The 2005–06 season saw them reach the quarterfinals in the playoffs and achieve a winning regular season record. The Princeville Titans are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team from Princeville, Quebec, Canada. They are a part of the Quebec Junior Hockey League. History The team originated as the Warwick Titans in 1996. They became the College Lafleche Titans in 2002. The 2005-06 season was their first campaign to finish with a winning record.
