Chalid Arrab
Chalid "Die Faust" Arrab (born May 28, 1975) is a German- Moroccan kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He trains at Team Golden Glory in Breda under Cor Hemmers. Biography and career Arrab's amateur boxing record of 34 Wins and 31 KOs out of 37 bouts has earned him the nickname "Die Faust" ("The Fist" in German). On April 29, 2006 Arrab entered the K-1 World GP 2006 in Las Vegas as a heavy underdog. Just one week before the fight he was involved in serious car crash in Germany. Arrab walked away unharmed. In the quarterfinals Arrab took on a former wrestler, Sean O'Haire. Arrab stepped in quickly firing with series of uppercuts and knocking out the American in first round. In the semifinals he met Carter Williams. Midway through the second round Williams dropped Arrab with a right knee and Arrab ended up losing the fight with a split decision. Sean O'Haire
Sean Christopher Haire (February 25, 1971 – September 8, 2014) was an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist and kickboxer, better known by his ring name Sean O'Haire. Haire was best known for his appearances with the professional wrestling promotions World Championship Wrestling, the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment on its SmackDown brand and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the early to mid-2000s. A three time WCW World Tag Team Champion, O'Haire was named " Rookie of the Year" by the ''Wrestling Observer'' in 2000. ''K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 in Seoul Final 16'' was a martial arts event held by the K-1 on Saturday September 27, 2008 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, Korea. It was the Final Elimination tournament for top sixteen fighters. The winners qualified for the K-1 World GP 2008 Final held on December 6, 2008 at Yokohama Arena, Japan. The eight finalists from K-1 World GP 2007 Final were automatically qualified, then four World GP 2008 tournament winners in Amsterdam, Fukuoka, Taipei and Hawaii. The last four spots were selected by fan voting. Dževad Poturak (born September 20, 1977) is a Bosnian heavyweight kickboxer, fighting out of Jumruk Gym in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is the former WAKO Pro World Low-Kick champion and K-1 Fighting Network Prague 2007 tournament champion. He holds notable wins over Daniel Ghiță, Melvin Manhoef and Sergei Lashchenko. Career Poturak first came to prominence when he defeated Siniša Puljak to win the WKA European Championship on December 21, 2003. Stefan Leko (born June 3, 1974) is a German heavyweight kickboxer. Siala-Mou Siliga (''surname pronnounced Sahlingah'', born October 8, 1970), often billed as Mighty Mo is a former American Samoan kickboxer, bare knuckle boxer, boxer and mixed martial artist who competed in the Heavyweight division. Ernesto Hoost
Ernesto Frits Hoost (born 11 July 1965) is a Dutch retired kickboxer. A four-time K-1 World Champion, Hoost is considered to be one of the greatest kickboxers of all time. Debuting in 1993 at the K-1 World Grand Prix 1993, where he came just one win short of the world title, Hoost announced his retirement thirteen years later on 2 December 2006 after the K-1 World GP Final tournament in Tokyo Dome, Japan. ''K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Tokyo Final'' was a kickboxing promoted by the K-1 ortheminutes each, with a possible tiebreaker. The tournament qualifiers had all qualified via elimination fights at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Osaka Opening Round. Losing fighters Musashi and Ray Sefo were invited as reserve fighters while Badr Hari and Paul Slowinski would face one another in a 'Super Fight'. Peter Aerts and Melvin Manhoef were also invited to the event as reservists. As well as tournament bouts there were also a number of 'Opening Fights' primarily involving local fighters, fought under K-1 Rules. In total there were eighteen fighters at the event, representing ten countries. The tournament winner was Semmy Schilt who won his second consecutive K-1 World Grand Prix by defeating Peter Aerts (who was making his fourth appearance in the final) via third round unanimous decision.
