The Central constituency (No.55) is a Constituencies of Russia, Russian legislative constituency in Krasnoyarsk Krai. Until 2007 the constituency covered central Krasnoyarsk as well as exclave city Norilsk, however, in 2015 it expanded into Krasnoyarsk suburbs, grabbing territory from Krasnoyarsk constituency, Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk constituency, Achinsk constituencies. Yeniseysk Constituency
The Yeniseysk constituency (No.56) is a Constituencies of Russia, Russian legislative constituency in Krasnoyarsk Krai. The constituency covers more than 3/4 territory of the region, mostly northern sparsely populated Krasnoyarsk Krai. Until 2007 the constituency stretched southward to Kansk but lost this part to Krasnoyarsk constituency in 2015. However, Yeniseysk constituency picked Norilsk and the territory of former Evenk constituency, Evenk and Taymyr constituency, Taymyr constituencies. The constituency covers southern Krasnoyarsk Krai. 2015 redistricting saw several changes to the constituency, including trade off of Achinsk to Central constituency in exchange for Divnogorsk from Krasnoyarsk constituency. 2011 Russian Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Russia on 4 December 2011. At stake were the 450 seats in the 6th State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly (the legislature). United Russia won the elections with 49.32% of the vote, taking 238 seats or 52.88% of the Duma seats. This result was down from 64.30% of the vote and 70% of the seats in the 2007 elections. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation received 19.19% of the vote and 92 seats, while A Just Russia received 13.24% and 64 seats, with the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia getting 56 seats with 11.67% of the vote. Yabloko, Patriots of Russia and Right Cause did not cross the 7% election threshold. The list of parties represented in the parliament did not change. Proportional Representation
Proportional representation (PR) refers to a type of electoral system under which subgroups of an electorate are reflected proportionately in the elected body. The concept applies mainly to geographical (e.g. states, regions) and political divisions (political parties) of the electorate. 2007 Russian Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Russia on 2 December 2007. At stake were the 450 seats in the 5th State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly (the legislature). Eleven parties were included in the ballot, including Russia's largest party, United Russia, which was supported by President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Official results showed that United Russia won 64.3% of the votes, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation 11.6%, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia 8.1%, and Fair Russia won 7.7%, and none of the other parties won enough votes to gain any seats. Raisa Karmazina (russian: Раиса Васильевна Кармазина; born January 9, 1951, Rostov-on-Don) is a Russian political figure and deputy of the 4th State Duma, 4th, 5th State Duma, 5th, State Duma, 6th, 7th State Duma, 7th, and 8th State Duma, 8th State Dumas. Karmazina was born to a family of Don Cossacks. From 1978 to 1993, she headed the Norilsk branch of the Gosbank, State Bank of the USSR.
