Raisa Karmazina (russian: Раиса Васильевна Кармазина; born January 9, 1951, Rostov-on-Don) is a Russian political figure and deputy of the 4th State Duma, 4th, 5th State Duma, 5th, State Duma, 6th, 7th State Duma, 7th, and 8th State Duma, 8th State Dumas. Karmazina was born to a family of Don Cossacks. From 1978 to 1993, she headed the Norilsk branch of the Gosbank, State Bank of the USSR. In 1980, she was elected deputy of the Norilsk City Council; and from 1990 to 1993, she was the deputy of Krasnoyarsk Council of People's Deputies. In December 2001, she became the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk Krai. On December 7, 2003, Karmazina was elected deputy of the 4th State Duma. She was re-elected in 2007, 2011, 2016, and 2021 for the 5th State Duma, 5th, 6th State Duma, 6th, 7th State Duma, 7th, and 8th State Duma, 8th State Dumas respectively. In October 2021, she was appointed the head of the Counting Commission of the State Duma. ...

8th State Duma
The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 8th convocation (russian: Государственная Дума Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации восьмого созыва) is the current convocation of the lower house of Russian parliament. The composition of the 8th State Duma was determined based on the results of the 2021 legislative election. Elections were held using a mixed system: 225 deputies were elected on party lists and 225 — in single-member constituencies. Of the 14 parties that participated in the elections, only 5 were able to overcome the 5% barrier. And for the first time since 1999, more than four parties were able to form their own factions. Three more parties and five independent candidates were able to win one seat each through single-mandate constituencies.
