Cattletruck
Cattletruck were an Australian Pop rock/rock group formed in 1985. The group released one studio album, ''Ready to Believe'' in 1987. History Cattletruck began as a self-described "irreverent semi-acoustic punkabilly covers outfit", that would play "anywhere, anytime, invited or not" In early 1985 singer/guitarist Paul Janovskis decided to "get serious" and the group independently produced a single "Never Is", which received public radio airplay. This allowed the band to lead support gigs for A-list Australian and International acts. In 1986, they signed with Regular Records and began work on their debut album, with a series of singles and video clips released. In December 1987, ''Ready to Believe'' was released, which peaked at number 58 on the Australian Charts. The band ground to a halt amidst bickering, management problems and financial issues in 1988. Peter Knight (musician)
Peter Knight (born 12 March 1965) is an Australian musician and composer. He is the artistic director of the Australian Art Orchestra and founding member of Melbourne group Way Out West., 5+2 Brass Ensemble and Clocked Out. He is best known for his solo albums ''Fish Boast of Fishing'' (2011) and ''Allotrope'' (2012) and composition for theatre in particular with performance maker Tamara Saulwick. Early life Peter Knight grew up in Orbost in country Victoria then went to school in Melbourne. He started playing trumpet when he was at primary school. Career In collaboration Knight played trumpet, electric bass and banjo in rock bands through his 20s including Cattletruck, which toured Australia extensively. Regular Records
Regular Records was an Australian record label based in Sydney that operated from 1978 until the mid-1990s. Regular Records released music by acts including Mental As Anything, Icehouse (band), Icehouse, and The Cockroaches. The Regular Records label was founded in 1978 by Martin Fabinyi and Cameron Allan. The label was associated with music recording and publishing company Festival Records. The act first signed to the label was Mental as Anything. The second act signed to label was "Flowers" who later changed their name to Icehouse (band), Icehouse. Regular signed Brisbane band The Riptides in 1981. In 1986 Regular signed The Cockroaches, who later went on to form the nucleus of The Wiggles. Acts also signed to Regular included I'm Talking, Electric Pandas and The Reels. ''Countdown'' was a weekly Australian music television program that was broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 8 November 1974 until 19 July 1987. Resurrection or anastasis is the concept of coming back to life after death. In a number of religions, a dying-and-rising god is a deity which dies and is resurrected.
