Cary Kwok
Cary Kwok (Siu Hang Cary Kwok, ) is a Hong Kong-born London-based British artist who specialises in fine detailed blue biro ( ball point pen) drawings and humorous erotic works. Kwok attended a footwear course in Hong Kong where he learned his shoe making skills before moving to London to further his studies. He spent six years at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design studying fashion at BA (Hons) and MA levels, graduating in 2001 with a Master of Arts in Fashion Design: Womenswear. His subjects often vary from male nude to period fashions. Hairstyles and shoes are also among his favorite subjects. White Columns is New York City’s oldest alternative non-profit art space. White Columns is known as a showcase for up-and-coming artists, and is primarily devoted to emerging artists who are not affiliated with galleries. All work submitted is looked at by the director. Some of the artists receive studio visits and some of those artists are exhibited. White Columns maintained a slide registry of emerging artists, which is now an online curated artist registry. The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) is an artistic and cultural centre on The Mall in London, just off Trafalgar Square. Emmanuel Perrotin (born in May 1968 in Montreuil) is the French contemporary art gallery owner of Galerie Perrotin. Early life and education Emmanuel Perrotin is the son of Michel Perrotin, a bank employee, and Odile Pradinas, a stay-at-home mother. He grew up in L'Étang-la-Ville and attended the Lycée autogéré de Paris.
