Carolina Durante is a Spanish Rock music, rock band formed in 2017 in Madrid composed of Diego Ibáñez, Martín Vallhonrat, Juan Pedrayes and Mario del Valle. The group signed a joint record deal with Sonido Muchacho and released their debut extended play ''Necromántico'' in December 2017. Their debut studio album was released in April 2019 and debuted at the second spot of the Productores de Música de España, PROMUSICAE chart. In 2019, Carolina Durante was the Spanish act that more concerts had offered in that year. Background The band was formed in 2017 in Madrid. The four members chose to name the band like this due to a romantic summer interest Mario del Valle had as a teenager. ''Operación Triunfo'' is a Spanish reality television music competition to find new singing talent. The ninth series, also known as ''Operación Triunfo 2017'', aired on La 1 from 23 October 2017 to 5 February 2018, presented by Roberto Leal. The Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (), commonly abbreviated to simply FIB, is an annual music festival that takes place in the town of Benicàssim, in the Valencian Community, Spain. It focuses mainly on pop, rock and electronica artists, as well as short films, fashion shows and art. FIB has a reputation of being among the best on the international festival circuit. The festival begins on the second Tuesday of July, when the camping grounds open, although music officially commences Thursday afternoon.
