Carola Söberg
Carola Britt Therese Söberg (born 29 July 1982) is a Swedish football coach and former goalkeeper. She played for clubs including Umeå IK, Tyresö FF and KIF Örebro DFF of the Damallsvenskan, as well as Avaldsnes IL of the Norwegian Toppserien. She won 11 caps for Sweden at senior international level. Club career At the end of the 2006 season, Everton FC supporter Söberg left Mallbackens IF for reigning league champions Umeå IK. Tyresö won the Damallsvenskan title for the first time in the 2012 season and Söberg collected her third league winner's medal, in addition to two won with Umeå. Despite the arrival of Tinja-Riikka Korpela, Söberg retained her place and played in Tyresö's 4–3 defeat by Wolfsburg in the 2014 UEFA Women's Champions League Final. When Tyresö FF folded during the 2014 Damallsvenskan season, Söberg signed for Avaldsnes IL of the Norwegian Toppserien. Svenska Supercupen was a one-off fixture in Football in Sweden, Swedish football played between the previous season's Damallsvenskan champions and winners of the Svenska Cupen (women), Svenska Cupen. The fixture was played before the start of Damallsvenskan. The first final was played in 2007. In 2014 no Supercup was held, as the Swedish Cup was restructured going from single years to being played summer to summer. The 2017 Damallsvenskan was the 29th season of the Swedish women's association football top division, Damallsvenskan. It began on 16 April 2017, and ended on 12 November. Linköpings FC were the defending champions, having won the competition in 2016. On 29 October 2017, the winner of Damallsvenskan was settled, when Linköpings FC, in a goalless game against Kvarnsvedens IK, netted one point in the league table and gained an impregnable lead with two remaining rounds against main rival and closest competitor FC Rosengård. The 2014 Damallsvenskan, part of the 2014 Swedish football season, was the 27th season of Damallsvenskan since its establishment in 1988. The season started on 13 April 2014 and ended on 19 October 2014. LdB Malmö, which was renamed to FC Rosengård in December 2013, were the defending champions and won the title with several match days before the end of the season. Originally the season featured 12 teams, but due to Tyresö FF's midseason withdrawal, the season ended with 11 teams; nine returned from the 2013 season and the other two were promoted from Elitettan. On 28 September 2014, with few fixtures remaining in the season, relegation was confirmed for Jitex BK after they were defeated by Kristianstads.
