Capital Airport Subdistrict () is a subdistrict and an exclave of Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It borders Nanfaxin and Houshayu Towns to the north, and Tianzhu Town to other three directions. It hosts Terminal 1 and 2 of the Beijing Capital International Airport, and as of 2020, it had a population of 16,837. This is a list of township-level divisions of the municipality of Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC). After province, prefecture, and county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. However, as Beijing is a province-level municipality, the prefecture-level divisions are absent and so county-level divisions are at the second level, and township-level divisions are at the third level of administration. People's Commune
The people's commune () was the highest of three administrative levels in rural areas of the People's Republic of China during the period from 1958 to 1983, until they were replaced by townships. Communes, the largest collective units, were divided in turn into production brigades and production teams. The communes had governmental, political, and economic functions during the Cultural Revolution. The people's commune was commonly known for collectivizing living and working practices, especially during the Great Leap Forward. The scale of the commune and its ability to extract income from the rural population enabled commune administrations to invest in large-scale mechanization, infrastructure, and industrial projects. Shunyi District () is an administrative district of Beijing, located to the northeast of the city's urban core. As of 2014, the population of the district is around 983,000, of which approximately 601,000 have local residency permits. Tianzhu Area () is an area and a town on the southwestern corner of Shunyi District, Beijing, China. It is located at the south of Nanfaxin and Houshayu Towns, west of Renhe and Liqiao Towns, north of Jinzhan and Sunhe Townships, east of Konggang Subdistrict, and surrounds Capital Airport Subdistrict on three sides. An enclave is a territory (or a small territory apart of a larger one) that is entirely surrounded by the territory of one other state or entity. Enclaves may also exist within territorial waters. Residential Community
A residential community is a community, usually a small town or city, that is composed mostly of residents, as opposed to commercial businesses and/or industrial facilities, all three of which are considered to be the three main types of occupants of the typical community.
