''Campanas en la noche'' (English: ''Bells at Night'') is a 2019 Argentine telenovela created by Lily Ann Martin and Jessica Valls for Telefe. It premiered on January 14, 2019 and ended on May 15, 2019. It stars Esteban Lamothe, Calu Rivero and Federico Amador. The supporting cast includes Eugenia Tobal, Rodrigo Guirao Díaz, Patricia Viggiano, Mariano Argento, Adrián Navarro, Martín Slipak, Laura Laprida, Clara Alonso, Franco Masini, Azul Fernández, and Bárbara Amaral. There is also the special participation of Héctor Bidonde, Jean Pierre Noher, and Noemí Frenkel. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Mimí Ardú (born 28 February 1956, Río Cuarto, Cordoba) is an Argentinian actress and former vedette. Career At age 15, Ardú began receiving piano lessons from a piano teacher. Jean Pierre Noher (born May 5, 1956) is a French-born Argentine actor. Biography A great-nephew of director Max Ophüls, Noher was born in Paris, in 1956. He relocated to Argentina as a young man, and debuted on Argentine television with a part in a soap opera, ''Novia de vacaciones'', in 1979.
