There are 32 Cabinet ministers and 50 Ministers of State in the Cabinet of Uganda (2021 to 2026). According to Section 111 of the 1995 Constitution of Uganda, as amended in 2005, "There shall be a Cabinet which shall consist of the President, the Vice President, the Prime Minister and such number of Ministers as may appear to the President to be reasonably necessary for the efficient running of the State." The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) is a cabinet-level ministry of the government of Uganda. Sam Cheptoris
Sam Mangusho Cheptoris is a Ugandan politician. He is the Cabinet Minister of Water and Environment in the Cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. In 2021 he was elected as member of parliament for Kapchorwa Municipality. Background and education Sam Cheptoris was born in present-day Kapchorwa District, on 12 December 1949. He studied at Nabumali High School, before attending the University of Nairobi where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. Judith Nabakooba
Judith Nalule Nabakooba (born 28 October 1977), is a Ugandan politician and former policewoman. She is currently the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 8 June 2021. Before that, from December 2019, until May 2021, she served as the Cabinet Minister of Information and Communications Technology. Nabakooba served as the elected Member of Parliament, representing Mityana District Women's Constituency in the 10th Parliament (2016–2021). Katumba Wamala
Edward Katumba Wamala (born 19 November 1956), more commonly known as Katumba Wamala, is a Ugandan general who serves as Minister of Works and Transport in the Ugandan cabinet, since 14 December 2019. Before that, from 17 January 2017 until 14 December 2019, he served as Minister of State for Works in the Ugandan cabinet. He previously served as the chief of defense forces of Uganda, the highest military rank in the Uganda People's Defense Force (UPDF), from 2013 until 2017. He was the commander of land forces in the UPDF from 2005 to 2013. Jane Aceng
Jane Ruth Aceng (born 11 May 1968) is a Ugandan pediatrician and politician. She is the Minister of Health in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. Before that, from June 2011 until June 2016, she served as the Director General of Medical Services in the Ugandan Ministry of Health. Background and education Aceng was born on 11 May 1968. Jeje Odongo
General Haji Abubaker Jeje Odongo is a Ugandan senior military officer and politician. In June 2021, he was appointed Uganda's cabinet minister for Foreign Affairs.
