Club Sportiv Minerul 1947 Ocna Dej, commonly known as Minerul Ocna Dej, formerly known as Someșul Dej, is a Romanian football club based in Ocna Dejului, Cluj County, which currently competes in Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football, following their promotion from the Liga IV – Cluj County at the end of the 2019–20 season. History The club was founded in 1947 as Minerul Ocna Dej by the workers of the mining exploitation Salina Ocna Dej and played most of its history in the fifth tier and more than thirty-five seasons in the fourth league. Minerul promoted for the first time to third division winning the Divizia D – Cluj County at the end of the 1998–99 season, but after was ranked 11th in the 1999–2000 season “The Miners” relegated after finished in 15th-place in the next season. The 2021–22 Liga III was the 66th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began in August 2021 and ended on 28 May 2022. This season was the second consecutive with a format that included 100 teams (10x10). The format was changed before the previous season, due to the financial problems generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Clubul Sportiv Progresul Șomcuta Mare, commonly known as Progresul Șomcuta Mare, is a Romanian football team based in Șomcuta Mare, Maramureș County, which currently competes in the Liga IV – Maramureș County, the fourth tier of the Romanian football, following the relegation at end of the 2021–22 season. CSM Satu Mare (football)
Clubul Sportiv Municipal Satu Mare, commonly known as CSM Satu Mare, or simply as Satu Mare, is a Romanian football club based in Satu Mare, Satu Mare County, currently playing in the Liga III. This team represents the football section of the multi-sport club CSM Satu Mare, which also include basketball, volleyball and handball sections. CSM Satu Mare was established on 18 July 2007 and is fully supported by the Municipality of Satu Mare. The football section of CSM was established only in 2018, after the second dissolution of Olimpia Satu Mare and was enrolled in the Liga IV Satu Mare. Despite the promotion obtained in 2019, CSM was not accepted in the Liga III by the Romanian Football Federation, after a late payment of the financial guarantee for participation in the 2019–20 Liga III season. Mircea Bolba
Mircea Bolba (31 October 1961 – 6 January 2021) was a Romanian football midfielder and manager. Career As a footballer, Bolba played for Olimpia Satu Mare, Steaua București, ASA Târgu Mureș, Politehnica Timișoara and FC Bihor Oradea, among others. After retirement, Bolba started his career as a manager, coaching over years especially teams from Satu Mare County, such as Olimpia Satu Mare (several times), Fink Fester Petrești, Talna Orașu Nou or Turul Micula. Bolba also managed other teams, especially from the region of Transylvania, among them Arieșul Turda, Silvania Șimleu Silvaniei, Unirea Dej or Someșul Dej. Mircea Bolba died in the morning of 6 January 2021, at the age of 59. Alpár Mészáros
Alpár "Mesi" Mészáros (born 22 November 1964) is a retired football player, currently a manager. Club career Mészáros started his football career at U Cluj. He was transferred to Dinamo București and later, he went abroad to the Hungarian side Volán FC. In 1991 Alpár Mészáros moved to Germany where he played until the end of his career at Rot Weiss Waldorf and Flensburg 08. Gheorghe Barbu (20 July 1968 – 31 October 2021) was a Romanian footballer who played as a forward and midfielder.
