CMLL-Reina International Championship
The CMLL-Reina International Championship (''Campeonato Internacional del CMLL-Reina'' in Spanish language, Spanish; in Japanese language, Japanese) is a women's professional wrestling Championship (professional wrestling), championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Reina Joshi Puroresu. The championship was created in August 2012 in the Universal Woman's Pro Wrestling Reina promotion, becoming one of four women's championships currently recognized by CMLL; the others are the CMLL World Women's Championship, the Mexican National Women's Championship and the CMLL-Reina International Junior Championship. When the title was created, it was first called the Reina-CMLL International Championship, but the names of the promotions have since been switched around in the title's name. Zeuxis (born November 3, 1988) is a Puerto Rican people, Puerto Rican ''Lucha libre, luchadora wrestling mask, enmascarada'', or masked female professional wrestling, professional wrestler, best known for her 10 years tenure with the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), portraying a ''Heel (professional wrestling), ruda'' ("bad guy") wrestling character. Marcela (wrestler)
María Elena Santamaría Gómez (born May 31, 1971) is a Mexican professional wrestler, known mainly for her work in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where she works under the ring name Marcela. As Marcela, she is one of the top ''técnicas'' (the "good" characters, or faces) in CMLL. Her daughter is also a professional wrestler, known under the name Skadi, who often teams with her mother. Santamaría has worked for CMLL since the early 1990s and has also wrestled in Japan and on the Mexican independent circuit. In 2018, she began her fifth reign as CMLL World Women's Champion, which is a CMLL record. Norma Martínez (born April 23, 1978), known by the ring name La Comandante, is a Mexican ''luchadora'', or female professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) portraying a '' ruda'' ("bad guy") wrestling character. Professional wrestling career She began her career working under the ring name ''La Nazi'' (The Nazi), inspired by ''El Nazi'', a hated Mexican ''rudo'' (a bad guy character or heel). is a Japanese professional wrestler, shoot boxer, kickboxer and mixed martial artist, better known simply as . Syuri formerly competed in Ultimate Fighting Championship. Syuri is currently working for World Wonder Ring Stardom, where she is the current World of Stardom Champion. JWP Openweight Championship
The JWP Openweight Championship was a women's professional wrestling championship owned by the JWP Joshi Puroresu promotion. The championship, which was situated at the top of JWP's championship hierarchy, was introduced on December 2, 1992, when Dynamite Kansai defeated Cutie Suzuki in a tournament final to become the inaugural champion. At the time of JWP Joshi Puroresu's folding in April 2017, the JWP Openweight Championship was the oldest active title in all of ''joshi puroresu''. Like most professional wrestling championships, the title was won as a result of a scripted match. There were thirty reigns shared among nineteen different wrestlers. The title was retired on April 2, 2017, when JWP Joshi Puroresu went out of business. JWP Joshi Puroresu
, also known as or simply JWP, was a Japanese ''joshi puroresu'' (women's professional wrestling) promotion, founded in 1992 as a splinter promotion of Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling. Celebrating its 25th anniversary at the time of its folding in 2017, JWP was the oldest ''joshi puroresu'' promotion in Japan and its Openweight Championship was the oldest championship in all of ''joshi''. CMLL Super Viernes (October 2012)
In October 2012 the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held four CMLL Super Viernes shows, all of which took take place in Arena México on Friday nights. Some of the matches from Super Viernes were taped for CMLL's weekly shows that air in Mexico the week following the Super Viernes show. The shows featured various professional wrestling matches with different wrestlers involved in pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines. Wrestlers portray either villains (referred to as "''rudos''" in Mexico) or fan favorites ("''technicos''" in Mexico) as they follow a series of tension-building events, which culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.
