	CJUS-FM CJUS-FM was a Canadian radio station, which aired in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from 1965 to 1985.Paulson, Joanne. "University station gets new life on Net", ''The StarPhoenix'', 2005-04-20, p. C1. It was a campus radio station operated by the University of Saskatchewan. Studios were initially located in the basement of the university's Memorial Union Building, but were moved to the basement of the Education Building in 1980 next to the Department of Audio Visual Services. The station was launched through a partnership between the university's board of governors and its student union. For a number of years, the station also aired some programming from the CBC Stereo network before CBKS was launched. In 1983, with the station in financial trouble, it began to accept limited commercial advertising, and briefly changed its call sign to CHSK. 	CFCR-FM CFCR-FM, is the community radio station in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan which broadcasts at 90.5 FM. The station also streams live from their web site and airs on SaskTel Max, channel 820. CFCR-FM is a member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association (NCRA). History When the University of Saskatchewan's campus radio station CHSK-FM (formerly CJUS) signed off the air in September 1985, a small group of concerned individuals decided to form a community radio station in Saskatoon. Following the incorporation of the Community Radio Society of Saskatoon (CRSS) the following year, the founding members set out to convince the city that a non-profit community-run station was a feasible concept. After attracting an impressive number of members, many of whom were former CJUS/CHSK on-air hosts, work was begun in earnest on creating a program schedule, training volunteers and arranging fundraising events.
