C. S. Sureshkumar
C. S. Sureshkumar (born 6 October 1959) is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Tamil Nadu. He became a cricket coach after retirement. Career After representing India national under-19 cricket team in 1978–79, Sureshkumar made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu three seasons later. He played as a right-handed top-order batsman and also represented South Zone and the Board President's XI. In his 24 first-class appearances, he made more than 1000 runs including six centuries and a solitary fifty. Five of those centuries came in his first nine Ranji Trophy matches from 1982–83 to 1983–84. His final first-class appearance came in the 1987–88 Ranji Trophy. After his playing career, Sureshkumar took up cricket coaching. A Level C NCA qualified coach, he worked as the batting coach of the National Cricket Academy and a batting consultant to the Indian under-19 team. Wicket-keeper
The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. The wicket-keeper is the only member of the fielding side permitted to wear gloves and external leg guards. The role of the keeper is governed by Law 27 of the Laws of Cricket. Leg Spin
Leg spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A leg spinner bowls right-arm with a wrist spin action. The leg spinner's normal delivery causes the ball to spin from right to left (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, that is away from the leg side, and this is where it gets the name leg break. Leg spinners bowl mostly leg breaks, varying them by adjusting the line and length, and amount of side spin versus topspin of the deliveries. Leg spinners also typically use variations of flight by sometimes looping the ball in the air, allowing any cross-breeze and the aerodynamic effects of the spinning ball to cause the ball to dip and drift before bouncing and spinning or "turning", sharply. Krishnakumar Dinesh Karthik (born 1 June 1985) is an Indian professional cricketer and commentator who nationally plays for the Indian Cricket Team and currently in Indian Premier League playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is also the current captain of the Tamil Nadu cricket team in domestic cricket. He made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2004. Karthik has become the 4th Indian batsman to play 300 T20 matches.
