Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose is an Indian retired 1977-batch IAS officer and politician, who has been serving as the Governor of West Bengal since 23 November 2022. Early life & education Ananda Bose was born on 2 January 1951 at Mannanam, Kerala to Vasudevan Nair and Padmavathy. He attended Kuriakose Elias College, Mannanam, and St. Berchmans College, Changanassery. He holds a Ph.D from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Career As the Administrator of the National Museum, Bose launched a 100-day programme which spelt out specific measures to revamp and revitalise the institution.
