Burhan Tia
Burhan Tia ( ar, برهان تية; born 1965) is a Sudanese football manager who is currently coaching the Sudan national team. Managerial career In 1995, Tia entered management, taking charge of Al-Mourada, guiding the team to continental qualification. Tia later managed Khartoum-based club Al Ahli, Al-Merreikh Al-Thagher, Hay Al-Arab, Alamal Atbara, Kadougli-based club Al-Hilal, Al-Merreikh Al-Fasher, Al-Hilal Al-Fasher, Al Neel, Al-Merrikh and Al-Tuti. Hubert Velud (born 8 June 1959) is a French former Association football player and most recently manager of the Sudan national team, following his departure from JS Kabylie mid season 2019–20. Playing career Velud was born in Villefranche-sur-Saône. A goalkeeper, played for Stade de Reims, Châlons-sur-Marne. The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (also referred to as AFCON 2021 or CAN 2021), known as the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial international men's football championship of Africa organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The Sudan national football team ( ar, منتخب السودان الوطني لكرة القدم) represents Sudan in international football and is controlled by the Sudan Football Association, the governing body for football in Sudan. Al-Mourada SC
Al-Mourada Sports Club ( ar, نادي الموردة الرياضي) is a Sudanese football club based in Al-Mourada, a suburb of Omdurman. Along with Al-Hilal and Al-Merrikh, they formed the triplet of Sudanese football, but they couldn't continue that legacy. They were one of the strongest teams in Sudan during their strong reign in the top division of the Sudanese football before being relegated to the 2nd division league due to some financial difficulties. Al-Mourada along with Hilal Alsahil are the only two teams who had broken the domination of the Sudanese football by Al-Hilal Omdurman and Elmerrikh SC as the league title was always won by either one of the rivals.
