Bruno Amílcar Valdez Rojas (born 6 October 1992) is a Paraguayan professional footballer who plays as a defender for Argentine Primera División club Boca Juniors and the Paraguay national team. A right-footed defender, he can play as a centre-back and right-back. Club career Valdez made his professional debut with Sol de America but in July 2014 it was sold to Cerro Porteño. In 2015, Valdez helped Cerro to win the Apertura championship. In June 2016, Valdez was sold to Club América of Mexico. On 16 January 2023, Valdez signed a 3-year contract with Boca Juniors. International career In May 2015, Valdez was called up to the provisional 30-man roster for the Paraguay national football team to play at the 2015 Copa América. Clausura 2019 Copa MX
The Clausura 2019 Copa MX was the 81st staging of the Copa MX, the 53rd staging in the professional era and is the fourteenth tournament played since the 2012 return of the competition, following its hiatus after the 1996–97 edition. The tournament started on 8 January 2019 and ended on 10 April 2019. The final was held at Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez in Ciudad Juárez with the visiting team América defeating Juárez 0–1 to win their record sixth title. As winners, América earned the right to face Cruz Azul in the 2019 Supercopa MX. However, they also won the Apertura 2018 Liga MX, and thus qualified for the 2019 Campeón de Campeones. Copa MX
The Copa MX (formerly called Copa Tower Monterrey, Copa Eliminatoria, Copa México and Copa Corona MX (for sponsorship reasons)) was a Mexican football cup competition that was established in 1907. After a lengthy hiatus that began in 1997, it was restored in 2012. On early editions of the cup, it consisted of both professional and amateur stages. It was the first official tournament that included teams from different parts of Mexico and was considered a prestigious tournament, especially during its earlier years of existence. The original purpose of the competition was to determine a national champion, thus distinguishing it from the local league championship. Estadio Defensores del Chaco is a multi-purpose stadium in Asunción, Paraguay. It is currently used mostly for football matches.
