Bregarca
Bregarca is a ski jumping hill from 1952 or 1953 with calculation point at K25 and located in Dolenja vas, Železniki, Slovenia. Hill is managed by ŠD Dolenja vas. History People in those places were jumping on the edge of farm fields and hill wherever they could. That's why they came up with idea to build a real ski jumping hill. At first Bloudek constructed a hill that was little bigger hill than Bregarca which stood outside of the village towards neighbour's village Selca. There were held some competitions but the didn't really establish, it was to far from village and also terrain configuration wasn't appropriate. That's why on an initiative of a local enthusiast Jože Megušar in the middle of the village at time a new Bregarca K20 hill was constructed by Stanko Bloudek. Peter Prevc
Peter Prevc (; born 20 September 1992) is a Slovenian ski jumper. He won the 2016 Ski Jumping World Cup overall title and four Olympic medals, including gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics in the mixed team event. Stanko Bloudek
Stanko Bloudek (11 February 1890 – 26 November 1959) was a Slovenian aeroplane and automobile designer, a sportsman and a sport inventor, designer, builder and educator. Biography Stanko Bloudek was born on 11 February 1890 as son of a Czech father and a Slovenian mother in the Slovenian mining town of Idrija. He attended school in Most (in today’s Czech Republic), where his father worked in the local mining industry. After graduating from secondary school in 1908, Bloudek studied in Prague. At first, he studied at the Academy of Arts, but found it was not his interest and switched to technical studies. He never graduated from the academy, but was nonetheless regarded as an engineer. Bloudek was engaged as a pioneer of flight. In 1910, when in Prague, he presented his first monoplane called ''Racek'' ('Gull'). A second one named ''Libela'' ('dragonfly') followed in the next year. Ski Jumping Hill
A ski jumping hill is a sports venue used for ski jumping. They vary in size from temporary handmade snow structures to permanent competition venues. At the top is an in-run where the jumper runs down to generate sufficient speed, before reaching the jump. The skier is then airborne until landing on the landing slope. The last part of the hill is the out-run, which may be either flat or even uphill, allowing the jumper to stop. The steepest point of the hill is the construction point, which is used to determine the score of a particular length. The size of a hill is measured in the hill size. Selca (; in older sources also ''Selce'', german: Selzach) is a village in the Municipality of Železniki in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.
