Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
is a Japanese comedy manga series written and illustrated by Yoshio Sawai. It was serialized in Shueisha's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' from February 2001 to November 2005, with its chapters collected in twenty-one ''tankōbon'' volumes. It was followed by a sequel titled ''Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo'', serialized from December 2005 to July 2007, with its chapters collected in seven ''tankōbon'' volumes. A seventy-six episode anime television series adaptation by Toei Animation was broadcast on TV Asahi from November 2003 to October 2005. In North America, Viz Media published some volumes of the manga. The anime series aired in the United States on Cartoon Network from 2005 to 2007. Tankōbon
is the Japanese term for a book that is not part of an anthology or corpus. In modern Japanese, the term is most often used in reference to individual volumes of a manga series: most series first appear as individual chapters in a weekly or monthly manga anthology with other works before being published as volumes containing several chapters each. Jetix
Jetix (stylized as JETIX) was a children's entertainment brand owned by The Walt Disney Company. The brand was for a slate of action/adventure-related programming blocks and television channels. Jetix programming mainly originated from the Saban Entertainment library, airing live-action and animated series with some original programming. Jetix was first launched as a programming block in the United States on Toon Disney on February 14, 2004, to compete with Cartoon Network's Toonami block, and in Europe in April 2004. Illumitoon Entertainment was a production company based in Fort Worth, Texas that specialized in anime. It was founded in January 2006 by former Funimation executives Stephanie Giotes, Richard Ray, and Barry Watson. Illumitoon's goal was to have its shows aired on television and offer unedited dual language DVDs. History Illumitoon shared facilities with CRM Productions in Fort Worth, Texas and Westlake Entertainment was used for distribution. The company's first anime license was Beet the Vandel Buster and Beet the Vandel Buster Excellion. They also licensed AM Driver, B't X, and BT'X Neo. Illumitoon joined with Westlake for the licensing of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. Toonami Jetstream was an ad-supported online broadband streaming service and a remake of Toonami's previous video streaming service Toonami Reactor provided by Cartoon Network and Viz Media. It hosted various Toonami hits and had music videos, game reviews, and a comment box. It premiered July 17, 2006. Toonami Jetstream was only available in the United States. A computer with Windows 2000 SP4+, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS X, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 (or higher) or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 (or higher), Adobe Flash 9, and a broadband connection were required. After Toonami was cancelled on September 20, 2008, it was unknown if Toonami Jetstream would still be active, or would merge with Cartoon Network Video. Mihimaru GT were an urban and pop music group signed to Universal Music Japan and managed by Tearbridge Productions, a subsidiary of Stardust Promotion and Avex. History Mihimaru GT was a Japanese duet made up of composer, lyricist and vocalist, Miyake as well as vocalist and lyricist Hiroko. The group was formed due to the joint management of the two members during their solo careers. Before forming Mihimaru GT, each member had a relatively quiet career, with little to no major hits. Ulfuls
is a Japanese rock band from Osaka. The band name Ulfuls is derived from a misreading of the word "soulful," found on the cover of one of the band members' favorite records. They were signed by Toshiba-EMI in 1992, but after 15 years they transferred to Warner Music Group. History Having debuted in 1992 with the single, "Yabure Kabure," they initially had very limited success. However, by 1996, the group experienced huge superstar fame, fueled by the singles "Guts Da Ze!!," and "Boogie Woogie '96". Their lead singer is Tortoise Matsumoto.
