Bjørg Lødøen
Bjørg Lødøen (7 December 1931 – 5 March 2009) was a Norwegian painter, graphic artist, and composer. Biography Lødøen was born in Oslo, Norway. In 1945, by way of her father she came to know the painter Xan Krohn. Krohn had been taking part in the Russian avant-garde movement from about 1910 until he returned to Norway some time after 1917. Krohn was affiliated with a group of artists, Jack of Diamonds, that included Kazimir Malevich, Mikhail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova. From 1951 until 1954 Lødøen was studying at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo, from 1957 until 1961 at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts, with the professor Alexander Schultz. Whilst a student she spent some time in Paris and Florence, from 1961 she made several study trips throughout Europe. Kongsvinger () is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Glåmdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Kongsvinger. Other settlements in the municipality include Austmarka, Brandval, Lundersæter, and Roverud. The municipality is the 111th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Oslo City Hall
Oslo City Hall ( no, Oslo rådhus) is a municipal building in Oslo, the capital of Norway. It houses the city council, the city's administration and various other municipal organisations. The building as it stands today was constructed between 1931 and 1950, with an interruption during the Second World War. It was designed by architects Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson. The building is located in the city center, in the northern part of the Pipervika neighbourhood, and it faces Oslofjord. Oslo City Hall is built of red brick and has two towers, one 63 meters tall and other 66 meters tall. The bricks used are larger than what was typical at the time of construction, but are roughly the same size as bricks used in the Middle Ages. Porsgrunn
is a city and municipality in Telemark in the county of Vestfold og Telemark in Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Grenland. Kunstnernes Hus ( Norwegian for "Artists' House") is an art gallery in Oslo, Norway. It is Norway's largest gallery under the direction of artists, and has served as a major center for exhibits of Norwegian and international contemporary art. It is also a prominent example of Functionalist architecture situated in Wergelandsveien 17, across the Royal palace park. After having raised funds and interest for several years, ''Bildende Kunstneres Styre'' (now Norwegian Visual Artists Association) acquired the site for its headquarters in 1927 and opened an architectural contest in 1928.
