Bianca Pascu
Bianca Alexandru Pascu (born 13 June 1988) is a Romanian sabre fencer. She represented Romania at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where she competed in the women's individual sabre event. Career Pascu's first sport was handball. She took to fencing at age 10 after a fencing coach from CSM Brașov went to her school and noticed the sport would suit her well. In 2007, she transferred to CS Dinamo Bucharest, where she was trained by Alexandru Chiculiță. In 2008, Pascu won the silver medal both in the individual and the team events of the Junior European Championships in Ghent. She also earned silver at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, after being defeated in the final by Ukraine's Olha Kharlan. Ghent
Ghent ( nl, Gent ; french: Gand ; traditional English: Gaunt) is a city and a municipality in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Halyna Vasylivna Pundyk ( uk, Галина Василівна Пундик; born November 7, 1987) is a Ukrainian gold medallist in sabre fencing. She was a member of the team that won the gold medal in sabre at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The Ukrainian women's team won gold in the sabre final, beating Russia during the 2009 and 2010 European Fencing Championships. Zhu Min (; born May 11, 1988, in Changzhou, Jiangsu) is a Chinese sabre fencer. She won a gold medal, as a member of the host nation's fencing team, in the same weapon at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou. Zhu is also a member of the Nanjing Province Fencing Team, and is coached and trained by Christian Bauer of France. Stefanie Kubissa (born 6 January 1985) is a German sabre fencer, team bronze medallist at the 2001 World Championships and team gold medallist at the 2001 European Championships. Career Kubissa first competed in nine-pin bowling, in which she was Middle Rhein champion and German national champion for her age group, category B.
