This is a list of results for the matches played by the Basque Country national football team (the association football team representing the Basque Country (greater region), 'Greater Basque Region', territories which are ultimately administered by France and Spain and their respective governing bodies in the sport), including unofficial Exhibition games, friendly fixtures against full FIFA international teams, others against fellow representative teams which are Non-FIFA international football, not aligned to FIFA, and matches against professional clubs. Basque Country National Football Team
The Basque Country representative football team (officially, in Basque, 'Euskal selekzioa') represents the Basque Country in football. It selects players from the Basque Country autonomous community, Navarre and the French Basque Country and is organised by the Basque Football Federation. It is not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA and therefore only allowed to play friendly matches against FIFA or non-FIFA affiliated teams. The team has been referred to by various names including ''Euskadiko selekzioa, Euskal Herriko futbol selekzioa, Selección de Euskadi, Vasconia, Equipo Vasco, Euskadi XI'' and ''Basque XI''. Most of their home matches have been played in the San Mamés Stadium which was replaced in 2013 by the new San Mamés. The Basque Country has had a football team of its own since 1930. Estadio Gran Parque Central
The Estadio Gran Parque Central is the stadium of Club Nacional de Football. It is located in Montevideo, Uruguay, near Nacional headquarters (exactly between the streets Carlos Anaya, Jaime Cibils, General Urquiza and Comandante Braga), in the La Blanqueada neighbourhood. Due to various factors, it is considered a historical stadium. Built in 1900, it is the oldest current stadium in America and the fifteenth in the world. But it mainly stands out for having hosted the 1930 FIFA World Cup, playing one of the first two matches in the history of the competition, when on 13 July 1930 United States defeated Belgium 3–0 in Group D. FIFA remembered this fact when in 2005 a delegation headed by its president, Joseph Blatter, came to visit the reforms and placed a commemorative plaque at the stadium. San Mamés Stadium ( es, Estadio San Mamés ; also known as ''La Catedral'' , "The Cathedral"), was a football stadium in Bilbao, Biscay, Spain. The stadium was the home of Athletic Bilbao, known as ''Los Leones de San Mamés''-''Bilboko lehoiak'' (The Lions of San Mamés). The Soviet Union national football team ( rus, сбо́рная СССР по футбо́лу, r=sbórnaya SSSR po futbólu) was the national Association football, football team of the former Soviet Union. After the Dissolution of the Soviet Union, breakup of the Union the team was transformed into the CIS national football team. FIFA considers the CIS national football team (and ultimately, the Russia national football team) as the Soviet successor team allocating its former records to them (except for the Olympic records which are not combined due to the IOC policy); nevertheless, a large percentage of the team's former players came from outside the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, Russian SFSR, mainly from the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Ukrainian SSR, and following the breakup of the Soviet Union, some such as Andrei Kanchelskis from the former Ukrainian SSR, continued to play in the new Russia national football team.
