Barry Evans (rugby Player)
Barry John Evans (born 10 October 1962) is a retired English rugby union wing who played for Leicester Tigers and England. He was born in Hinckley and educated at John Cleveland College. He won 2 England caps in 1988 against and on the 1988 England rugby union tour of Australia and Fiji. During his club career, he scored 170 tries for Leicester. Hinckley
Hinckley is a market town in south-west Leicestershire, England. It is administered by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Hinckley is the third largest settlement in the administrative county of Leicestershire, after Leicester and Loughborough. Hinckley is about halfway between Leicester and Coventry and borders Nuneaton in Warwickshire. Watling Street forms part of the Hinckley/Nuneaton border and the two towns are contiguous. Newcastle Falcons is a rugby union team that play in Premiership Rugby, England's highest division of rugby union. The club was established in 1877 as the Gosforth Football Club. Around 1882 the club merged with the Northumberland Football Club and briefly assumed their name until 1887.
