The Turkic languages are a language family of over 35 documented languages, spoken by the Turkic peoples of Eurasia from Eastern Europe and Southern Europe to Central Asia, East Asia, North Asia (Siberia), and Western Asia. Büyük Jeddikar
Boyuk Jeddikar ( fa, بیوک جدیکار; 3 February 1929 – 18 December 2013) was an Iranian footballer. He is known for being the first footballer in Iranian football history to be transferred from an Iranian club to a foreign club. Club career Jedikar first started playing in the position of goalkeeper. His talent of using the left-foot was discovered by coach Ali Danaeifard who suggested that Jeddikar should move upfront and play as a left striker. This discovery paid off and Jeddikar soon became one of the best footballers in the country. In 1957, he was transferred to Viktoria 89 Berlin on a three-year contract with a 1500 Deutschmarks a month salary, however his time in Germany was shortened when his father died, so after only 9 months Jeddikar returned to Iran to resume his career with Taj SC (currently Esteghlal). Büyük Vatankhah
Büyük Vatankhah ( fa, بیوک وطنخواه) or Ezzatollah Vatankhah ( fa, عزت الله وطنخواه) (born February 1, 1942 in Tabriz, Iran) is a retired Iranian football player and currently a scouter. He has played in Rah Ahan, Taj, Shahin and Persepolis. After he retired in 1972, he became manager of Persepolis U20 team and then selected as first-team manager in 1975. He is the first Iranian manager that could win Iranian top division league. His younger brother, Reza, was a team mate at Persepolis for many years. Büyük Vatankhah is part of the first generation of contemporary Iranian football players. According to interviews he has given to Iranian press, football was his passion from an early age, a sentiment which angered his traditional father who wanted his son to pursue more "mainstream" activities. Adem Büyük (born 30 August 1987) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays primarily as a Forward (association football), striker but also as a Midfielder, left winger for Manisa F.K., Manisa. Büyük Han (lit. Great Inn) ( el, Μεγάλο Πανδοχείο ''Megálo Pandocheío'') is the largest caravansarai on the island of Cyprus and is considered to be one of the finest buildings on the island.. Located in the capital of Cyprus, it was built by the Ottomans in 1572, the year after they had seized Cyprus from the Venetians. In the centre of the open courtyard is a mosque with a fountain for pre-prayer ablutions. It became the first city prison under British administration. Büyük Menderes River
The Büyük Menderes River (historically the Maeander or Meander, from Ancient Greek: Μαίανδρος, ''Maíandros''; tr, Büyük Menderes Irmağı), is a river in southwestern Turkey. It rises in west central Turkey near Dinar before flowing west through the Büyük Menderes graben until reaching the Aegean Sea in the proximity of the ancient Ionian city Miletus. The river was well known for its sinuous, curving pattern, and gives its name to the common term used to describe these characteristic bends in rivers. Büyük Saat ( en, The Great Clock Tower) is a historical clock tower in Adana, rising high. The tower symbolizes the modernization of the city, which lasted from 1863 to the Adana massacre. During this period many Ottoman and European businesses, moved to the city for the exploding cotton trade. The tower was constructed by the mayor Kirkor Bezdikyan on the main street (Roland street, now known as Ali Münif) who was credit for starting the first modern municipal governance. Bezdikyan was also the architect of the tower together with another Armenian architect Kasbar Agha Bezdikyan. History The construction of Büyük Saat was started in 1879 by the mayor Kirkor Bezdikyan. Büyük Teklif ( Turkish for "big offer") is the Turkish version of Deal or No Deal that airs on Kanal D. Hosted by Halit Ergenç, it was broadcast between June 5 and December 11, 2006. The amounts go from as little as 1 kuruş to as big as 500,000 Turkish lira (about US$350,000, €270,000, and £178,000). Great Turkey Party ( tr, Büyük Türkiye Partisi, BTP) was a short lived Turkish political party in 1983. Background After the coup of 1980, all political parties were closed by the military rule (so called National Security Council or tr, MGK) regardless of their political views, on 16 October 1981. For approximately one and a half years, there were no political parties. Finally, MGK decided to allow the formation of new parties with severe restrictions. According to instructions, the new parties were not allowed to use the names of the former parties and former politicians were not allowed to be the charter member of the new parties. Formation of party Great Turkey Party was planned by the followers of the ex Justice Party (AP) of Turkey, which was the governing party before the coup.
