"Bésame En La Boca" is a Latin pop song with influences bolero written and produced by Adrian Posse and Didi Gutman. It was released by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio as the final single from her third studio album, '' El Tiempo Es Oro'' (1995). It was released in June 1995 in Mexico and in September in the rest of Latin America. Rubio's cover was also included on the soundtrack of the film of the same name, which she also starred in. Paulina Susana Rubio Dosamantes (; born 17 June 1971) is a Mexican singer. Referred to as "Honorific nicknames in popular music, The Golden Girl" and "Honorific nicknames in popular music, Queen of Latin Pop", she first achieved recognition as a member of the successful pop group Timbiriche from 1982 through 1991. After leaving Timbiriche, she embarked on a solo career. Rubio has sold over 15 million records, making her one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. ''El Tiempo es Oro'' (''Time Is Gold'') is the third studio album by Mexican pop singer Paulina Rubio, released simultaneously on 21 March 1995 by EMI Mexico in 18 countries. It was recorded in the autumn and winter of 1994 in Madrid, Spain and Miami, Florida. Similar to her previous studio albums, Miguel Blasco was the primary producer, but featured new producers and collaborations including Marco Flores, Adrián Posse and Claudio Bermúdez. Bolero is a genre of song which originated in eastern Cuba in the late 19th century as part of the trova tradition. Unrelated to the older Spanish dance of the same name, bolero is characterized by sophisticated lyrics dealing with love. It has been called the "quintessential Latin American romantic song of the twentieth century". Unlike the simpler, thematically diverse ''canción'', bolero did not stem directly from the European lyrical tradition, which included Italian opera and canzone, popular in urban centers like Havana at the time. Instead, it was born as a form of romantic folk poetry cultivated by a new breed of troubadour from Santiago de Cuba, the ''trovadores''. ''Pobre niña rica'' (English title: ''Poor Little Rich Girl'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Enrique Segoviano for Televisa.
