Antoine Alexandre Brutus Bussy (29 May 1794 – 1 February 1882) was a French chemist who primarily studied pharmaceuticals. Education Antoine Bussy entered the École Polytechnique in 1813, and there followed the courses delivered by Pierre Robiquet, the great French chemist who was to make decisive breakthroughs in bio-chemistry (he isolated the first amino-acid ever identified, asparagin, in 1805–1806), in industrial dyes (he isolated and identified alizarin, the most famous and first modern industrial red dye) and the pick-up of modern medication (he isolated, identified and started mass production of codeine, 1832). Robiquet tutored Antoine Bussy in his career as a chemist researcher and in his private career as pharmacist as well. Kessya Bussy (born 19 June 2001) is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for Division 1 Féminine club Reims and the France national team. Club career Bussy started her senior career with Orléans. Following a good season with the club in Division 2 Féminine, she joined Reims in June 2020. She scored five goals and provided five assists in 22 matches in her first season with Reims. Her performance didn't go unnoticed as she was nominated for Best Young Player at Trophées UNFP du football and FFF D1 Arkema awards. Sir John Bussy (also Bushy; died 29 July 1399) of Hougham in Lincolnshire was a member of parliament representing Lincolnshire or Rutland eleven times from 1383 to 1398 as a Knight of the Shire. He was also Speaker of the House of Commons at the three Parliaments between 1393 and 1398, during which he supported the policies of king Richard II.
