Business Park Skejby is a large business park in the northern district of Aarhus N, in the city of Aarhus, Denmark. Business Park Skejby was officially created in 2013 and stretches north from the neighbourhood of Christiansbjerg to Skejby, bounded by the major roads of Ring 2 and Randersvej. Most of the businesses and institutions within the park area were constructed several decades ago. Description Apart from small and large businesses, the business park area is also home to the smaller business park of Agro Food Park, a large number of educational facilities and a few residential areas as well. Aarhus Light Rail
The Aarhus Letbane (Aarhus light rail) is a light rail system in the city of Aarhus, Denmark. It is operated by the company Midttrafik. The first line opened in December 2017, but the system is under continuous development and expansion. Service on the intercity section Odder to Lisbjergskolen opened on August 25, 2018. A third intercity line to Grenå opened on 30 April 2019. More lines are being planned. On 8 May 2012, the Danish Parliament approved the construction of the first line; work to build Phase 1 commenced during September 2013. Dokk1
Dokk1 or Dokken is a government building, public library and culture center in Aarhus, Denmark. It is situated on '' Hack Kampmanns Plads'' in the city center by the waterfront next to the Custom House. Dokk1 is part of the much larger development project Urban Mediaspace Aarhus, jointly financed by Aarhus Municipality and Realdania for 2.1 billion DKK. It is designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and Kristine Jensen, with construction managed by NCC AB. Construction broke ground 8 June 2011 and the building was inaugurated four years later on 20 June 2015. The name of the building was determined by a public contest held in the autumn of 2012. Vestereng
Vestereng is a nature site in the environs of northern Aarhus and the suburb of Skejby. The name literally translates as 'westward meadow'. The Municipality of Aarhus took ownership in 1939. The area has a lively history of recent times and is now used extensively by several civil groups and organizations. The most prevalent groups as of 2013, being Aarhus Beach Volley Club, the roleplaying club Einherjerne, Aarhus Dirt Jump Park and Aarhus civil dog handling Association. Aarhus Tech
AARHUS TECH (until 2011 Aarhus Technical School) is a technical school in Aarhus, which provides secondary education and vocational education. The college was founded as "Prinds Frederik Ferdinands Tegne- og Søndagsskole" in 1828. Since then, the school has grown to become one of the largest technical colleges in Denmark, with 3800 students. In 2002, the college merged with AMU Østjylland. The Aarhus Academy (Danish: ''Århus Akademi'') is a school of secondary education in Aarhus, Denmark. The school offers the 2 year Higher Preparatory Examination (HF) programme, the 2 year Matriculation examination (STX) programme and supplementary courses in specific disciplines. INCUBA Science Park
INCUBA Science Park is a research park in Aarhus, Denmark with four departments in Skejby, Katrinebjerg, Aarhus University and Aarhus Docklands.
