Burn Halo is an American hard rock band originating from Orange County, California and Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was formed by James Hart, lead singer of Orange County metalcore band Eighteen Visions although he left in 2016 and rejoined Eighteen Visions in 2017. History Formation and self-titled debut album (2007–2010) James Hart spent nearly a decade recording and touring as the frontman of Orange County band Eighteen Visions. After their breakup in early 2007, He landed a label deal with Island/Def Jam and began working almost immediately with songwriter Zac Maloy on what would become Burn Halo's self-titled debut. ''Burn Halo'' is the debut album by American rock band Burn Halo. The album was set for release in 2008 through Island Records, but after the album was completed Island elected not to release it. It was released on March 31, 2009, through Rawkhead Rekords. It entered at #129 at the ''Billboard'' 200, selling 4,800 copies. Track listing Singles Dirty Little Girl The album's first single "Dirty Little Girl" was released on November 25, 2008, and features Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates. Christopher A. Chaney (born June 14, 1970) is an American musician. He is best known as the former bassist of alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, and as a member of Alanis Morissette's touring and recording band for six years. New Medicine (formerly A Verse Unsung) is an American rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 2009. History New Medicine was originally formed as A Verse Unsung by two friends, Jake Scherer and Dan Garland, who were attending Orono High School at the time. The two would write lyrics during classes then work through them musically at Scherer's family's farm in Medina where he lived. Kenny Fritze and Aaron Gates were later added to the band and eventually replaced. Brian Elwin Haner Jr. (born July 7, 1981), better known by his stage name Synyster Gates or simply Syn, is an American guitarist, best known for being the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold.
