Papa Roach
Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, drummer Dave Buckner, bassist Will James, and trombonist Ben Luther. After two EPs, James left and was replaced by Tobin Esperance. The band independently released two more EPs before signing with DreamWorks Records in 1999, subsequently releasing the triple-platinum '' Infest'' in 2000, the gold album ''Lovehatetragedy'' in 2002 and the platinum album '' Getting Away with Murder'' in 2004. A year after ''The Paramour Sessions'', Buckner left in 2007, and was replaced by Tony Palermo. Papa Roach then made ''Metamorphosis'' (2009), ''Time for Annihilation'' (2010), '' The Connection'' (2012), '' F.E.A.R.'' (2015), '' Crooked Teeth'' (2017) and ''Who Do You Trust?'' (2019). ''Lovehatetragedy'' is the third overall and second major label studio album by the American rock band Papa Roach. It was released on June 18, 2002. Background A re-recorded version of the song "M-80 (Explosive Energy Movement)" was featured in the game ''Amplitude''. The song " She Loves Me Not" was featured in the game NHL 2003. The songs "She Loves Me Not" and "Walking Thru Barbed Wire" were recorded in 1999, with the former appearing on the band's 1999 demo and the latter on the ''...Let 'Em Know!'' EP. ''Getting Away with Murder'' is the fourth and third major-label studio album by the American rock band Papa Roach. The album was a departure from the band's previous works, showcasing an alternative rock and hard rock sound instead of a nu metal and rap metal sound. Unlike their previous albums, the album features no rapping and instead only features Jacoby Shaddix singing. It was released on August 31, 2004 via Geffen Records and has been certified Gold in Canada, Silver in the United Kingdom and Platinum in the United States.
