Bunting Island
Bunting Island is the northernmost in a row of islands off Yan District in Kedah, Malaysia. It is also the only one to be linked to the mainland by a bridge. Yan District
The Yan District is a district in Kedah, Malaysia. It is bordered by Kota Setar District to the north, Pendang District to the northeast and Kuala Muda District to the south. Yan District is along the coast of the Straits of Malacca. It is the smallest municipality in Kedah. "Yan Besar" is the administrative town of Yan district, complete with administrative facilities such like Police Stations, magistrate court, district and land office. Its lifestyle is laid-back and slow-paced, with weekend attractions of natural waterfalls nearby. It also attract most pensioners to build their dream house for pleasant retirement or nurture some local fruit orchards. Kedah
Kedah (), also known by its honorific Darul Aman (Islam), Aman and historically as Queda, is a States and federal territories of Malaysia, state of Malaysia, located in the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia. The state covers a total area of over 9,000 km2, and it consists of the mainland and the Langkawi islands. Bunting Island Bridge
Bunting Island Bridge is a bridge that connects Bunting Island to mainland Yan, Kedah state, Malaysia. The bridge was built by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) while the main contractor was Gamuda Berhad Gamuda Berhad () is an engineering, property and infrastructure company based in Malaysia. It is one of the largest Malaysian infrastructure companies and has undertaken various projects, both locally and overseas, like the construction of Kl ....
