Wakiso is a city in the Central Region of Uganda. It is the headquarters of Wakiso District. Location Wakiso is located on the Kampala–Hoima Highway, approximately north-west of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. Bunamwaya SC
Vipers SC is a football club based in Kampala, Uganda. They are nicknamed the Venoms or Nyokas (Snakes in Kiswahili). History The club was founded as Bunamwaya FC in 1969. Vipers SC have played in the Uganda Premier League since 2006 after winning the Wakiso District and Super Mini League promotion league in 2005. They have finished in the top half of the table every year since the 2006–07 season. With the backing of president Lawrence Mulindwa, the club signed several important players for the 2010 season, including seven members of the Ugandan National Team at the time. Bunamwaya won their first ever Uganda Premier League title with two rounds to spare. They did not participate in the 2011 CAF Champions League for financial reasons.
