Buhas
Buhas () is a village in southeastern Ukraine, located in Volnovakha urban hromada, Volnovakha Raion, Donetsk Oblast. It was known as Maksymivka () during the times of the Soviet Union. History On 13 January 2015, during the War in Donbas (2014–2022), War in Donbas, there was Buhas bus attack, an artillery strike against a civilian bus near Buhas. According to early reports, 10 passengers died and 13 were injured. Buhas Bus Attack
The Volnovakha bus attack was an attack on a highway checkpoint near the village of Buhas outside of the Volnovakha municipality in the Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine on 13 January 2015. It resulted in the deaths of 12 passengers of an intercity bus and injuries to 18 others in the area. The attack was the largest single loss of life since the signing of the Minsk Protocol in September 2014, which attempted to halt the War in Donbass. The incident has been labeled an "act of terror" by both the Ukrainian authorities as well as the rebels. Initially, separatists took responsibility for this incident, which they thought was a successful destruction of the Ukrainian roadblock. After the information about civilian bus hit the news, they denied having "even technical possibilities" to shell that area. War In Donbas (2014–2022)
The War in Donbas, russian: Война на Донбассе was an armed conflict in the Donbas region of Ukraine, part of the broader Russo-Ukrainian War. In March 2014, immediately following the Euromaidan protest movement and subsequent Revolution of Dignity, protests by pro-Russian, anti-government separatist groups arose in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine, collectively called the Donbas. These demonstrations began around the same time as Russia's annexation of Crimea, and were part of wider pro-Russian protests across southern and eastern Ukraine. Ivan Ordets ( uk, Іван Миколайович Ордець; born 8 July 1992) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Bundesliga club VfL Bochum on loan from Dynamo Moscow. Russian is the most common first language in the Donbas and Crimea regions of Ukraine and the city of Kharkiv, and the predominant language in large cities in the eastern and southern portions of the country.
