''Bucephala'' is a genus of diving ducks found in the Northern Hemisphere. Taxonomy The genus ''Bucephala'' was introduced in 1858 by American naturalist Spencer Baird with the bufflehead as the type species. The genus name is derived from Ancient Greek ''boukephalos'', meaning "bullheaded", from ''bous'' "bull", and ''kephale'', "head", a reference to the crest of the bufflehead making its head look large. The bufflehead was formerly treated as the only member of the genus (sometimes unnecessarily changed to ''Charitonetta'') while the goldeneyes were incorrectly placed in ''Clangula'' (as ''Clangula americana''), the genus of the long-tailed duck, which at that time was placed in '' Harelda''.Report of the National conference on utilization of forest products. Alexandria Bucephalus
Alexandria Boukephala and Alexandria Nikaia were two cities founded by Alexander the Great during his invasion of the Indian subcontinent. Two of many cities founded by the Macedonian king, the cities were founded on either side of the Hydaspes (Jhelum River), east of the Indus River. Boukephala was founded in memory of Alexander's beloved horse Bucephalus who had died after the Battle of the Hydaspes in 326 BC, while Nikaia was founded in celebration of that victory. Troezen
Troezen (; ancient Greek: Τροιζήν, modern Greek: Τροιζήνα ) is a small town and a former municipality in the northeastern Peloponnese, Greece, on the Argolid Peninsula. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Troizinia-Methana, of which it is a municipal unit. It is part of the Islands regional unit. Troezen is located southwest of Athens, across the Saronic Gulf, and a few miles south of Methana. The seat of the former municipality (pop. 6,507) was in Galatas. Before 2011, Troizina was part of the Argolis and Korinthos prefecture from 1833 to 1925, Attica prefecture from 1925 to 1964, Piraeus Prefecture from 1964 to 1972 and then back in Attica prefecture (in antiquity it was part of Argolis).
