Brute Force (album)
''Brute Force'' is the third studio album by French musical project the Algorithm. The album was released on 1 April 2016 through FiXT. It is the project's first studio release with the label. Promotion and release Promotional video single "Floating Point" was announced through ''Metal Hammer'' on 30 January 2016 with a remix released on the project's official blog the following month. On 9 March 2016, ''Metal Underground'' premiered the music video for "Pointers" along with the track listing for the album. Commenting on the release, Gallego stated the track was "one of my favorite ongsso far". The same day, the album was made available for pre-order on the project's website with various bundle options. Some bundles included a MIDI version of the album on a floppy disk. On 30 March 2016, two days before official release, the full album was streamed with ''Metal Hammer'' accompanied by Gallego's track-by-track analysis of the album. The Algorithm
The Algorithm is the musical project of French musician Rémi Gallego (born 7 October 1989) from Perpignan. His style is characterised by an unusual combination of electronic dance music with progressive metal. Gallego chose the name The Algorithm to highlight the music's complex and electronic nature. History Early years (2009–2010) After the demise of his band Dying Breath, Rémi Gallego decided in 2009 to look for potential members for a band that focused on mathcore, which came as an inspiration from The Dillinger Escape Plan. After a futile search for new members, with the help of his guitar and a DAW, Gallego began to produce his own music. Igorrr
Gautier Serre (born June 5, 1984), better known by his stage name Igorrr, is a French musician. Under the Igorrr alias, he combines a variety of disparate genres, including black metal, baroque music, breakcore, and trip hop, into a singular sound. Serre is also part of the groups Whourkr and Corpo-Mente. The Igorrr project became a full band with the addition of vocalists Aphrodite Patoulidou and JB Le Bail, plus the drummer Sylvain Bouvier and the guitarist Martyn Clément. Meshuggah () is a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Umeå in 1985. Originally, the band's name was Metallien.
