Bruce Firestone
Bruce Firestone (born December 4, 1951) of Ottawa, Ontario, is a real estate developer, former sports team owner and university professor. He is the founder of the modern-day Ottawa Senators NHL professional ice hockey club and former part-owner of the Ottawa Rough Riders CFL football club. Business career Dr. Firestone received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from McGill University in Montréal; his Master of Engineering-Science (Traffic and Transportation) from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and his PhD in Urban Economics from the Australian National University in Canberra. After graduating from university in Australia, Firestone joined the family firm Terrace Developments in the early 1980s. Randy Sexton (born July 24, 1959) is a Canadian ice hockey executive, businessman and former athlete. He is the Senior Advisor to the General Manager for the Minnesota Wild. He was the assistant general manager for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL) and general manager of the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, he was the director of amateur scouting for the Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager of the Florida Panthers of the NHL. He was one of the founders of the Ottawa Senators NHL club in Ottawa, Ontario. He later became the Senators' second general manager. Cyril Leeder (born September 20, 1959) is a Canadian businessman. He is the former president of the Ottawa Senators professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) and its corporation, the Senators Sports & Entertainment Corporation. Leeder is also a member of the Ottawa Community Ice Partnership, which organizes the annual Bell Capital Cup minor ice hockey tournament. The Ottawa Sport Hall of Fame (french: Temple de la renommée du sport d'Ottawa) is a hall of fame dedicated to recognizing athletes and sportspeople associated with Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
