Inductees are selected from community nominations, with consideration given to represent all sport contributions in Ottawa. It is a non-profit organization, and maintains memorabilia and commemorative plaques for more than 270 inductees as of 2019.

2020–21

The 2020 induction ceremony was postponed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ottawa. The inductees were Dave Smart, Marina Zenk, Dr. Don Johnson (physician), Don Johnson and Phil Ashcroft, John Therien and Derek Holmes (ice hockey), Derek Holmes.
