John Halvorsen
John Halvorsen (born 17 August 1966) is a retired Norwegian long-distance runner who specialized in 10,000 metres and cross-country running. He represented IF Minerva. In 10,000 m he finished sixteenth at the 1988 Summer Olympics, twelfth at the 1990 European Championships and nineteenth at the 1992 Summer Olympics. At the 1987 World Championships he competed in both 10,000 m and 5000 m without reaching the finals. His highest place from the IAAF World Cross Country Championships was a tenth place from 1989. He also attended University of Ottawa and is also a record 4 times Canadian University (CIAU) Cross Country Champion and a 5 times all Canadian as well as two times Canadian Cross Country Champion and won several Canadian 10K Road Championships. Knut Kvalheim (born 14 June 1950) is a retired Norwegian long-distance runner. He is the brother of Arne Kvalheim. He finished fourteenth at the 1974 European Championships (5000 m), ninth at the 1976 Summer Olympics (5000 m) and ninth at the 1978 European Championships (10,000 m). He also competed without reaching the final at the European Championships in 1971 and 1982. Henrik Ingebrigtsen (born 24 February 1991) is a Norwegian middle-distance runner who competes mainly in the 1500 metres. He represented Norway at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Marius Bakken (born March 27, 1978 in Sandefjord) is a Norwegian runner who specializes in the 5000 metres, having run distances from 800 to 10,000 metres in his early career. He represents IL Runar. He finished ninth at the 2001 World Championships, fourteenth at the 2002 European Championships and twelfth at the 2005 World Championships. In addition he competed at the 1999 World Championships and the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004 without success.
