Brajagopal Roy
Brajagopal Roy (1935/1936 – 31 July 2022) was an Indian politician. Roy was the main leader of the All India Forward Bloc in the North-Eastern state of Tripura. He was President of the AIFB Tripura State Committee and a member of the All India Secretariat of the party. The All India Forward Bloc ( AIFB) is a left-wing nationalist political party in India. It emerged as a faction within the Indian National Congress in 1939, led by Subhas Chandra Bose. The Left Front is a political alliance in the Indian state of Tripura. The Left Front governed Tripura 1978–1988, and again from 1993 to 2018. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) is the dominant party in the coalition.
