Ronald Bolaños (born August 23, 1996) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres and Kansas City Royals. Career San Diego Padres Before coming to the United States, Bolaños played for Mayabeque of the Cuban National Series. He signed with the San Diego Padres as an international free agent on August 11, 2016. Bolaños played for the Fort Wayne TinCaps in 2017, going 5–2 with a 4.42 ERA in 69 innings. Miller Alejandro Bolaños Reasco (born 1 June 1990) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays as a striker for Ecuadorian Serie A club Emelec. Club career LDU Quito Bolaños was born in Esmeraldas, and began his career in the youth ranks of Caribe Junior. In 2006, he joined Barcelona SC and made his professional debut the same year. Luis De Bolaños
Luis de Bolaños (1549? – 11 October 1629) was a Spanish Franciscan friar and missionary evangelist, initiator of the system of reductions (indigenous towns) in Paraguay and northeastern Argentina. Bolaños was born in Marchena, Seville, and entered the Franciscan order while he was very young, studying until he became a deacon. Friar Alonso de San Buenaventura passed by his convent looking for missionaries to work in South America, and Bolaños joined his group. Twenty-two Franciscans departed from Spain in the 1572 expedition of the '' Adelantado'' Juan Ortiz de Zárate. They arrived in Asunción (the present-day capital of Paraguay) in 1575. Bolaños was ordained a priest in 1585. For fifty years he worked on the evangelization of the Guaraní aboriginals. Luis Alberto ''Chucho'' Bolaños León (born March 27, 1985) is an Ecuadorian professional football midfielder who plays for S.D. Quito. Club career Chucho as he is nicknamed has only received international recognition in recent years, during his performance in the 2008 Copa Libertadores with his former team LDU Quito. He was part of the starting line-up for LDU Quito that won the 2008 Copa Libertadores and has since won legend status in Ecuador's capital. Juan Carlos Bolaños (born November 10, 1946) is a Mexican former racing driver from Mexico City. He was a long time sports car racer who practiced a car for the 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans but did not compete, but did drive in the 1975 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same Porsche 911 and finished 9th overall and 5th in class.
