Bodil Arnesen
Bodil Victoria Arnesen (19 April 1967 in Harstad) is a Norwegian operatic soprano who studied music in Stavanger and Munich. Arnesen has had opera and concert engagements in Europe, USA and Asia and has recorded several albums. She has been awarded several music awards. Harstad
( se, Hárstták) is the second-most populated municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is mostly located on the large island of Hinnøya. The municipal center is the Harstad (town), town of Harstad, the most populous town in Central Hålogaland, and the third-largest in all of Northern Norway. The town was incorporated in 1904. A soprano () is a type of classical female singing voice and has the highest vocal range of all voice types. ARD International Music Competition
The ARD International Music Competition (german: link=no, Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD) is the largest international classical music competition in Germany. It is organised by the Bayerischer Rundfunk and held once a year in Munich. Since its inception in 1952, it has become one of the most prestigious classical music competitions.
