Pléneuf-Val-André (; br, Pleneg-Nantraezh; Gallo language, Gallo: ''Ploenoec'') is a Communes of France, commune in the Côtes-d'Armor Departments of France, department of Brittany (administrative region), Brittany in northwestern France. The 2020 Challenge Tour is a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. After beginning with three tournaments in South Africa co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour, the remainder of the season was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, with many tournaments being cancelled or postponed. Challenge Tour Rankings The rankings were titled as the Road to Mallorca and were based on prize money won during the season, calculated using a points-based system. Alexander Knappe
Alexander Knappe (born 1 March 1989) is a German professional golfer. Knappe was born in Brilon, Germany. He played one year of college golf at Texas Christian University. Álvaro Velasco (golfer)
Álvaro Velasco Roca (born 15 May 1981) is a Spanish professional golfer. Velasco was born in Barcelona and attended Coastal Carolina University on a golf scholarship where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He turned professional in 2005 and worked his way through the ranks graduating to the top level European Tour in 2008. Velasco finished 100th on the Order of Merit in 2008, but fell back to the second tier Challenge Tour in 2010 having finished 189th in the Race to Dubai rankings in 2009. He recorded the biggest win of his career at the 2010 Fred Olsen Challenge de España, before trumping this by winning the Kazakhstan Open, the Challenge Tour's biggest event. Andrea Pavan
Andrea Pavan (born 27 April 1989) is an Italian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He has won twice on the tour, the 2018 D+D Real Czech Masters and the 2019 BMW International Open. Amateur career Pavan won the Italian Amateur Strokeplay Championship in 2005 at the age of 16, and subsequently opted to join the collegiate circuit in the USA. He spent four years studying at Texas A&M enjoying a successful career on the golf team, including winning a collegiate event in 2010 and being part of the team which won the 2009 NCAA Men's Golf Championship. Matt Ford (golfer)
Matthew James Ford (born 19 April 1978) is an English professional golfer. Ford has played mostly on the Challenge Tour except for two seasons, 2015 and 2016, when he played on the European Tour. Professional career Ford qualified for the European Tour after finishing fourth in the 2014 European Tour qualifying school. He had a good start to 2015, finishing second in the Africa Open in March. He finished the season at 105th in the Order of Merit to retain his card for 2016. However he finished 131st in the Order of Merit in 2016 and returned to the Challenge Tour. Birgir Hafþórsson
Birgir Leifur Hafþórsson (born 16 May 1976) is an Icelandic professional golfer and former European Tour player. At age 41, he became Iceland's first winner on the Challenge Tour, winning the 2017 Cordon Golf Open in France. He also won the mixed team gold and the men's silver at the 2018 European Golf Team Championships at Gleneagles, Scotland. Adrià Arnaus Antúnez (born 17 October 1994) is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2022 Catalunya Championship on the European Tour. Josh Geary (born 11 December 1984) is a New Zealand professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour. Professional career Geary turned professional in 2007 and played primarily on the Canadian Tour until 2010. He won the Saskatchewan Open in 2008 and was runner-up in the 2010 The Economical Insurance Group Seaforth Country Classic behind Kent Eger.
