''Blau'' (stylized as ''BLAU'') is the debut studio album by Japanese singer Eir Aoi. It was released under SME Records on January 30, 2013. It debuted at number four on Oricon chart, and reached number three on ''Billboard'' Japan Top Albums Sales. ''Blau'' takes its title from German word meaning "blue", denoting her image color and thought that "I want you to feel a variety of Eir Aoi". Three singles were released from the album: "Memoria", "Aurora", and "Innocence", all of them were used for anime theme songs. Eir Aoi
is a Japanese singer from Sapporo, Hokkaido, signed to Sacra Music. After being discovered through the Japanese video sharing website Niconico, Aoi made her major debut in 2011 with the release of her first single "Memoria", whose title track was used as the first ending theme to the 2011 anime television series '' Fate/Zero''. is a 2011 Japanese science fiction anime television series and the twelfth installment in Sunrise (company), Sunrise's long-running ''Gundam'' franchise. The series was first announced in the July issue of Shogakukan's ''CoroCoro Comic'', and has gaming company Level-5 (video game company), Level-5's President Akihiro Hino in charge of the story. This installment of the Gundam meta-series is set on a futuristic Earth plagued by an interplanetary war that spans a whole century.
