Blameless (band)
Blameless were a rock quartet formed in Sheffield, England in 1993/94. They reached the top 30 of the UK Singles Chart in 1996 with the song "Breathe (A Little Deeper)". The band consisted of singer Jared Daley, guitarist Matt Pirt, bassist Jason Leggatt and drummer Jon Dodd. Although coming from the UK during a "British Invasion" headed by Oasis, the band have been more-often compared to American bands such as Pearl Jam and R.E.M. Their inclusion of the song "Town Clowns" in the Rough Trade Singles Club caught the attention of several labels, and the band finally signed to China Records. They released a single for China, "Don't Say You're Sorry", and then went to Fort Apache Studios in Boston, Massachusetts to record their debut album, ''The Signs Are All There''. Moist (band)
Moist is a Canadian rock band that formed in 1992. It consists of David Usher as lead vocalist, Mark Makoway on lead guitars, Jonathan Gallivan on guitars, Kevin Young on keyboards, Francis Fillion on drums, and Jeff Pearce on bass. Drummer Paul Wilcox left the band just before its hiatus in 2000. Moist was signed by EMI Music in 1994 and released three studio albums in the 1990s, becoming a staple of Canadian rock music. Shortly after releasing a compilation album in 2001, the band underwent an unplanned hiatus for over a decade, and then became officially re-established in June 2013. Shortly after reuniting, the band began work on their fourth studio album, entitled '' Glory Under Dangerous Skies'', which was released in 2014. Shine was a various artists compilation album series released by PolyGram TV in Britain from 1995 to 1998, centring on indie rock, largely from new British bands (several American bands, like Green Day and Dinosaur Jr. appeared sparingly). The series began in 1995 to capitalize on the Britpop scene. In total, there were ten Shine albums, plus a 'Best of '97' compilation and a final 'Best of Shine' in 1998. In the early to mid-1990s Heineken sponsored free admission four-day live music events in the United Kingdom in and around large capacity big top tents in Heineken green. The Bluetones
The Bluetones are an English indie rock band, formed in Hounslow, Greater London, in 1993. The band's members are Mark Morriss on vocals, Adam Devlin on guitar, Mark's brother Scott Morriss on bass guitar, and Eds Chesters on drums. A fifth member, Richard Payne, came on board between 1998 and 2002. The band was originally named "The Bottlegarden".
