Blagoy Makendzhiev
Blagoy Makendzhiev ( bg, Благой Макенджиев; born 11 July 1988) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for FC Krumovgrad. Career Makendzhiev began his professional career at Pirin Blagoevgrad. He made his competitive debut on 9 November 2005 in a match against Lokomotiv Sofia. In the next two seasons he played in only 4 games. During the 2009-10 season, he gradually established himself as the first choice goalkeeper for Pirin. In December 2010, Makendzhiev signed a 3-year contract with CSKA Sofia. On 18 May 2011 he made his official debut for CSKA in a home draw 2–2 against his former club Pirin Blagoevgrad. In 2011-12 season he spend most of the time on the bench, earning only one league appearance, coming as a substitute when Raïs M'Bolhi received a red card in away win 0–2 against Litex Lovech. Petrich
Petrich ( bg, Петрич ) is a town in Blagoevgrad Province in southwestern Bulgaria, located in Sandanski–Petrich Valley at the foot of the Belasica Mountains in the Strumeshnitsa Valley. According to the 2021 census, the town has 26,778 inhabitants. It is the seat of Petrich Municipality. Petrich is located close to the borders with Greece and North Macedonia. Litex Lovech
Litex ( bg, Литекс) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Lovech, which currently competes in the Second League. The club was founded in 1921 as Hisarya Sports Club. The club's home ground is the Gradski Stadion, which has a capacity of 8,100 seats, electric floodlights and permission to stage European matches. As one of the successful Bulgarian clubs outside the capital Sofia, Litex have won the domestic championship four times and the Bulgarian Cup on four occasions. The 2012–13 A Group was the 89th season of the Bulgarian national top football division, and the 65th of A Group as the top-tier football league in the country. The season began on 11 August 2012 and ended with the last games on 25 May 2013. Ludogorets Razgrad won the A Group title for a second consecutive season, after Levski were leading prior to the last round match, but made a draw with Slavia. The 2008–09 A Group was the 85th season of the Bulgarian national top football division, and the 61st of A Group as the top tier football league in the country. It began on 9 August 2008 and ended on 13 June 2009. CSKA Sofia were the defending champions, but they were unable to retain it and Levski Sofia won the title, which was their 26th overall. Promotion and relegation Three teams were promoted from the 2007–08 B Group. Kirin Cup
The is an association football tournament organised in Japan by the Kirin Brewery Company. The host, Japan, is a participant in every edition. The tournament was founded in 1978 then known as Japan Cup (International competition which national teams and clubs participated in), and was last held in its full form in 2022. From 1992 onwards, the format was changed to a round robin national team competition. The first nation to win the competition was Argentina. Ivaylo Bogdanov Petev ( bg, Ивайло Богданов Петев; born 9 July 1975) is a Bulgarian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He spent his whole career playing in Bulgaria, a part from a season at Greek club Trikala. Petev was most successful early in his career with hometown club Litex Lovech. After finishing his playing career, he became a manager, managing and having the most success at Bulgarian club Ludogorets Razgrad.
