Bisley Sports F.C.
Bisley F.C. was a football club based in Bisley in Surrey Heath, Surrey, England, who played from 2001 in part of the Hellenic Football League until the 2009–10 season, after which its players agreed to join the Farnborough F.C. Reserves and permitted Farnborough F.C. to therefore takeover its ''Lion Park'' grounds and position in the league, which has regular paid match attendance at its main ground and uses the site as its football academy and elite development centre. History The club was established in 1965 and moved up from the Surrey Intermediate League to the Surrey County Premier League in 1993. A further move up came in 2001, when joined the Hellenic League, Division One East in which they stayed until the club's dissolution at the end of the 2009–10 season. Bisley, Surrey
Bisley is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Surrey Heath in Surrey, England, approximately southwest of central London. It is midway between Woking (to the east) and Camberley (to the west). The village had a population of 3,965 in the 2011 Census. Much of the west of the parish is covered by an acidic heath, which is used by the Ministry of Defence. The National Shooting Centre, headquarters of the National Rifle Association, is within the historic bounds. Coldingley Men's Prison is also in the village. The village is close to junction 3 of the M3 motorway. The nearest railway station is at Brookwood, on the South West Main Line. Surrey Heath is a local government district with borough status in Surrey, England. Its council is based in Camberley. Much of the area is within the Metropolitan Green Belt. History The district was formed on 1 April 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, as a merger of Frimley and Camberley Urban District, and Bagshot Rural District. The Surrey County Intermediate League (Western) is one of the three intermediate football leagues which has most of its teams in the English county of Surrey and is the smaller of the two feeder leagues to the Surrey Elite Intermediate League. History The league can trace its roots back to 1891 when the East and West Surrey League was formed then 're-constructed' into the West Surrey League in 1905. The Surrey County Senior League (previously known as the ''Surrey County Premier League'') was a football competition based in Surrey, England. It operated from 1982 until 2003 when it was absorbed into the Combined Counties League, which had itself been called the Surrey Senior League until 1978.
