Jun Maeda
is a Japanese writer and co-founder of the visual novel brand Key under Visual Arts. He is considered a pioneer of nakige visual novels, and has mainly contributed as a scenario writer, lyricist, and musical composer for the games the company produces. His style was originally inspired by James Herbert Brennan, and is influenced by Haruki Murakami's novel ''Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World''. Originally from Mie, Japan, Maeda graduated from Mie high school and later went on to graduate from Chukyo University with a major in psychology. Before forming Key, Maeda worked for the company Tactics where he had a hand in the creation of two games for that company, ''Moon'' and '' One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e''. Lia (Japanese Singer)
Lia (born December 20; also stylized in all caps as LIA) is a Japanese singer and songwriter. Lia recorded "Tori no Uta" for Key (company), Key's 2000 visual novel ''Air (video game), Air'', which was reused in its 2005 anime adaptation and became influential in popular culture. She additionally recorded two other tracks for the visual novel, which were commercially successful. Lia has continued to work with Key by performing songs for their 2004 visual novel ''Clannad (video game), Clannad'' and its 2008 anime adaptation, ''Clannad After Story'', the 2005 adult visual novel ''Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life'', as well as the opening themes for Key's original anime series ''Angel Beats!'' in 2010 and ''Charlotte (TV series), Charlotte'' in 2015. Key Sounds Label is a Japanese independent record label formed in 2001 as a brand of the publishing company VisualArt's. Key Sounds Label was formed to catalog and release music related to visual novels produced by the brand Key, also under VisualArt's, known for developing titles such as '' Kanon'' and ''Air''. Excluding two albums and one single that were released by Key and VisualArt's before the label's formation, the majority of releases on the label all have a basis from one of Key's titles. There are other albums and singles on the label not directly related to the visual novels, such as two singles by Lia and one album by Riya. A maxi single or maxi-single (sometimes abbreviated to MCD or CDM) is a music single release with more than the usual two tracks of an A-side song and a B-side song. The first maxi singles Mungo Jerry's first single, "In the Summertime" was the first maxi single in the world. I've Sound
I've Sound, or simply called , is a Japanese techno/trance music production group based in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Led by Kazuya Takase, it features the talents of seasoned "sound creators" and many different vocalists, known as to their fans. Comiket
, more commonly known as or , is a semiannual ''doujinshi'' convention in Tokyo, Japan. Magome Togoshi
is a Japanese video game composer for visual novel studios. He began work as a music arranger in 1999, where he started working for the visual novel studio Key under VisualArt's to produce music for '' Kanon''. Between then and 2006, Togoshi composed music for four more titles by Key, along with other games produced by game brands also under VisualArt's. In October 2006, Togoshi resigned from Key and VisualArt's. He continues working with other visual novel developers. Career Magome Togoshi began working as a music arranger for music in visual novels starting with Key's first title '' Kanon'' in 1999.
