Bhagalpur Airport is situated at Bhagalpur City, in the state of Bihar, India. The airport is located at an elevation of 154 feet (47 m) above mean sea level. The Jhunjhunwala family had taken the franchise of that airline of Kalinga Airways in Bhagalpur. That was during the period 1969-1971 when 36-seater Airways was served from Bhagalpur. Bhagalpur is a city in the Indian state of Bihar, situated on the southern banks of the river Ganges. Darbhanga Airport
Darbhanga Airport is a domestic airport and an Indian Air Force Station, serving Darbhanga, Bihar, India. It is located just at the outskirts of the city near the NH-105 and NH-57 highways, which pass through Darbhanga. The airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The foundation stone for the airport was laid by the then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and then Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu, in the presence of state Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha on 24 December 2018. Muzaffarpur Airport
Muzaffarpur Airport is located at Muzaffarpur (besides NH 722 Muzaffarpur - Chhapra (Rewa Ghat)) in the state of Bihar, in India. It was to be built for the arrival of Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. From 1967 to 1982, flights for Patna operated on a regular basis from airport based in Patahi, In 2018, this airport was added to UDAN in order to connect people with other cities. Gaya Airport is an international airport serving Gaya, Bihar, India. This airport is 12 kilometres south-west of Gaya and 5 kilometres away from the temple city of Bodh Gaya, from where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment. Overview Gaya Airport is spread over an area of 954 acres. An additional 100 acres of land is under encroachment while another 100 acres of land from four villages is to be acquired for runway expansion. Airforce Station Purnea is located near Purnia in the state of Bihar, India. This is the base of Indian Air Force. This airport was built for supplies to Indian Army in Sino-Indian War.
