Hybe ( Hungarian: ''Hibbe'') is a village and municipality in the Liptovský Mikuláš District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia. Names and etymology The name is of Slavic ( Slovak) origin with uncertain etymology. Possibly, it derives from the stem ''-gyb''/''-hyb''.
